    In August 2023, Yoshihiro Narisawa, the founder and head chef of the restaurant "NARISAWA" located in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, opened the first overseas branch, "NARISAWA Shanghai." Chef Narisawa has always been dedicated to exploring a culinary culture that emphasizes the coexistence of people and nature. Through his own culinary philosophy, he has communicated this message to the world, thus establishing NARISAWA's unique "Satoyama Cuisine." In his quest to express respect for nature, he has been promoting food that is beneficial for the body, sustainable for the environment. The chef's encounter with the rich natural ingredients of China, including local resources from forests, rivers, and the ocean, has given birth to a completely new "Satoyama Cuisine" in Shanghai.
