Yè Shanghai was actually founded in Hong Kong in 1998, while the sister restaurant in Xintiandi, Shanghai opened in 2002, and has been popular ever since with local and international diners. Today operating in Hong Kong (Admiralty and Tsim Sha Tsui @K11 Musea), Shanghai and Taipei.
Yè Shanghai has received numerous awards over the years. The Kowloon restaurant alone has been awarded 16 Michelin stars for 14 consecutive years, while the Shanghai restaurant, after 21 years, has also joined the ranks of establishments recommended in the iconic Michelin Guide for 5 consecutive years. 
For more than two decades, Yè Shanghai Shanghai has captured the essence of traditional Shanghainese cuisine, while enhancing classic recipes through endless creativity and innovative new ingredients. We’re proud of our long list of most-loved dishes, always complemented by an eclectic collection of wines from around the world.
In the summer of 2022, the new Yè Shanghai Shanghai was unveiled in new Xintiandi, located on the third floor of Infinitus Plaza, with ample underground parking spaces (capacity of 384). The new restaurant features an impressive upgrade with a communal dining space, nine exquisite private rooms, and an expansive rooftop terrace overlooking the charming Taiping Lake. Enhanced by a view of the city’s most vibrant neighborhood, the Michelin-recommended restaurant is ready to welcome guests with a captivating menu that brings together sophistication and authenticity.  We welcome you to try again.
